I ordered the mushroom color and the color is lovely. They are light, sort of like a grayish oatmeal. The shoes are tagged that they have been treated with "Never Wet" stain guard.My issue with them is that they run small. I wear a size 38 or 7.5 in almost all shoes, sometimes an 8. I have 2 pair of UGGs like this in size 39. I can wear the UGGs with socks and arch support insoles and still have plenty of wiggle room to spare. I could probably wear a 38 in UGGs.Accordingly, I ordered these in size 8. They are snug. I can feel the tips of the shoes with the tips of my toes so I think they’re just a little too small/short in the length of the foot bed. The boots are slightly snug across the top of my foot and I do not have a high instep, high arch or wide foot. I think they would be uncomfortable for anyone with a thick or wide foot in regular width.I never wear size 8.5 in shoes but I think I would need 8.5 in these instead of my usual 7.5-8.Sizing issue aside, these are nice looking boots.UPDATE: I ordered them in size 8.5 and they were still tight across the top of the foot which is never a problem for me as I have an average to almost narrow foot. The top seam hurt my foot. I researched the brand and when I find it from reputable retail sellers and on Bearpaw website, this shoe doesn’t come in half sizes. I hate that you have to worry about fakes on Amazon. I can’t say for sure if these are fake or not but the poor fit and the half sizes make me wonder. Regardless, it does appear to be a nice shoe but the sizing really makes me question if it is an authentic Bearpaw brand name shoe. I am going to order my regular size 8 from another site and see how that works out. Something else worth noting, it’s not available in mushroom anywhere else. Gotta wonder….???UPDATE: I ordered these (in Hickory, Mushroom not offered) from the website of a reputable national brick and mortar retailer in size 8 (half sizes were not available) and they were a wee bit smaller than I expected but I think they will conform to my foot with wear.
